I would like to know which stadiums will be that test. If there is no clear information embargo. And also about the gameplay, if the goalies are better ... I appreciate that. Greetings Brazilian.

Is the defense more agressive?

My main interests are:

-Team and player individuality. Do the different teams play or setup like their real life counterparts? What is the A.I like especially defensively?

-Have the goal keepers really been improved? Do they still make the "no inertia" dive where the keeper levitates like a UFO into the sky without jumping or any visible weight shift?

-Ball physics, passing and shooting. Has it been improved? how does the shooting feel

-Anything you can tell us about the new tactics being added (man marking, zonal, advanced tactics etc)

-Animations and visuals. Any improvement? what's the presentation like? replays?

:D :?:

- Are Goalkeepers just better on the line or are they finally not glued on their lines anymore and come out in 1 on 1 situations when the striker breaks through with a trough ball?

- Is the shooting better? Is there more variety? Or is it still mostly the same as in Pes 2016?

- Do the player stats finally matter again and a good passer passes better than a bad one? Same goes for shooting, dribbling and so on..

- Is the dribbling better and the players react faster to the user input?

- DEFENCE: Can you finally defend properly again? Is the defending system a lot better than the one now?

Please take in account that since your playing a new there's always a time to adapt to new mechanic and flow of the game(and work arounds to score).

Because of this I hope that they let you play at least two hours, if not it's difficult to get the right impression of the game.

That said...

CPU AI

I'm first and foremost a master league player, so I'm more invested in the single player.
My biggest complain about Pes 2016 was how forgiving the adversary AI was, they defended terrible (always left huge spaces ) and offensive wise they are the most lousy I ever seen (how many times we saw them doing illogical passes when they have perfect score opportunities?).

The game was too easy even on the hardest mode, it simply became boring after a awhile because it was too predictable.

One of things that spiked my interest in the press release was the " adaptive AI", this is something that as potential to write wrongs of much of my complains regarding the game AI.

But is this true?Or just another sound byte? Please check this out and see if the game AI is definitely more challenging than before (please try the hardest modes).

Goalkeepers! A true headache for Pes fans!

Pes 2016 keepers were predictable and had terrible unnatural animations, much have been said about them(and nothing too positive) so I don't need to go into deep about this matter.Im sure all of you are pretty aware of the problems they have.

Shooting and passing

It just didn't felt right did it?it wasn't terrible (pes 2014 cof cof cof), but the ball lacked life like movement and the physics was a bit wonky. Also r2 shooting in my opinion was way overpowered, almost every player inside the box could score like that (I also feel the physics on r2 shooting was a little bit unrealistic).

Passing never felt really free, sure you could play manual and get some improvement. But pes 2011 proved that you can have a passing system with assistance while still having the sensation of freedom instead of a on rails kinda passing.

Please report the improvements on this area.

Animations.

There's always a huge space for improvement in this area, please report how well the game developed on this area(or if that isn't the case).

Master league

It's probably too early too know any news about this, but I noticed in the press release there's no reference to this mode. Are there going to be any significant improvements to this mode?

Edit

While Pes 2016 for Ps4 brought some new functionality to game regarding the edit, it's still quiet bothersome and complicated to edit squads and leagues.Any improvements are to be made regarding this?

Interested in more camera angles similar to the broadcast one like on Fifa so if you can, have a mess around to see if there's anything new.

Nets..yes they're deemed as pointless, but I'd like to know if they look different now. Do they move differently and does the ball hitting the back of the net feel more satisfying.
How can you defend against Luis Suarez?

Some garlic and a cross!

1. Is the PC version at least the same as the PS4 version ( PS4s "new" console Graphics will be at least 4 years old by the time PES17 comes out )

2. This new Learning AI - only in the AI team or human team too? .. While in Pes16 the AIs teams players would closed down, tackles, MOVED towards loose balls ... The players in my "Human Team" who were controlled by the same AI .. stood only yards away standing like dummies looking at these loose balls. Will the AI controlled players in the Human Team now react, close down , tackle and go to loose balls like their AI opponents ? Or is it more of the same as in all PES's to date ..

Can you still run the length of the pitch with any defender and get a shot off?
If you pass the ball back to a defender in space does the ai just stand and watch without closing your player down and stealing the ball? Thanks

Its crucial that the goalkeepers come off of their line this year. Not since PES 2010 have we had goalkeepers that come off of their line at all properly. Adds so much more excitement, skill and reward to finishing.

I want to know about the shooting and ball physics in depth. Are they significantly improved? Are they genuinely satisfying i.e on FIFA's level?

One major concern should be the lag cheating problem online !

The voiding games, and the button/lag delay playing online.

You must ask Konami if they are going to invest in dedicated servers for PES 2017.

Since the eaern big bucks with MyClub Online Players, they can get even more money if players don't cheat, voiding games, or causing lag.

So proper servers for PES 2017 must be FIRST priority for Konamy!

Please tell them this.

Thanks for letting the users have a say and I wish you a good time at the event!

I'd like to know about penalties; do the keepers still do that awful superman flying animation landing well beyond the post when jumping for the ball? And what about the kick taker, does the control of the kick make (more) sense this time around?
As I remember Asim criticised this in his review as well, so if it hasn't improved please tell him to yell at someone :D

And what about stamina, is it still possible to sprint and pressure like mad without depleted stamina?
And how about game speed, is it toned down? That and stamina would make the game play more like football and less like hockey imo ;)

Lastly, please test the refs by hacking down players from behind nowhere near the ball, to see if the refs hand out red cards consistently.

Cheers

Forgot one important question...referees! They were probably the worst we ever saw on a pes game in the 2016 edition(either that or they were really corrupt  ).

Please give us any info if they were improved or not.

Oh yeah I'd also like to know how the terms from the press release "real touch" and "precise pass" make the game play, and if they contribute to making the game play more authentic and less hockey/ping pong - even with the best teams in the game.

You could test this by spamming passes and through balls during a game like many people do online...

Thank you

Just on my way out so don't have time to read the thread but do people who make football games realise that the run up in penalties/freekicks and corners is just as important as the actual kick itself? I just wish there were penalties in the normal view so that we could do our own run-up.

PESblog.fr is the best preview by far, from great players (like the actual double WC) and based on statistics and show the real face of PES 2017, the guys really enjoy the game but show what Konami need really work this summer.

After all, Konami do this playtest for that ;)

Like Montero17 stressed, we need an update on CPU AI!

The game is far too easy on the hardest difficulty. It makes it impossible to play offline.
