La imprevisibilidad siempre ha sido una de las grandes señas de identidad de la saga y sucede lo mismo en PES 2018, un videojuego que se puede definir en una sola jugada: Control de espaldas a la portería de un atacante que sabe zafarse de la presión y contacto de su defensa. Gira, encara desde fuera del área y dispara con potencia. Aparece la pierna de un defensor, que desvía la trayoectoria del balón, dejando el portero a contra pie. Éste, suficientemente ágil, reacciona de manera realista y saca una mano milagrosa a ras de suelo. El balón queda muerto en el área. Alguien puede sacarla de un despeje. U otro atacante puede llegar para marcar a portería vacía. Situaciones reales, cambiantes y con un final inesperado.
Demuestra ser un dignísimo aspirante a la corona del videojuego de fútbol.
There are plenty of signs that, by the end of those three years, this will be something very special indeed – enough, perhaps, to make it truly essential. PES’s crown may have slipped just a touch this year, but at its best it still plays a beautiful game of the beautiful game.

Overall the game is very good but still needs changes to shooting, fouls, atmosphere and finding some individuality in the teams. Modes still are craving some more attention too, and this ultimately stops the game from being superb. If you are hardcore, you may be content if even a bit disappointed, however for the more average gamer, PES 2018 is a fun and fantastic game of football.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 ha encontrado su camino y pule su sobresaliente jugabilidad reduciendo la velocidad de los partidos, mejorando el peso del balón y añadiendo múltiples optimizaciones en el sistema de físicas y animaciones. Todo esto da como resultado un videojuego que sabe recrear perfectamente un deporte tan complejo como el fútbol, y lo más importante, lo hace ofreciendo una jugabilidad divertida y siendo fiel a sus seguidores.
I absolutely enjoy playing PES 2018; its gameplay elevates an aspect that was already strong. This is remarkable in and of itself, but also highlights the work still to be done in important areas such as the Master League. The franchise contains a great foundation, and will have to continue to build on it to remain at the top of the table.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 makes some steps forward for the series, but not as many as we would have liked.
A lot has gone into changing how the game is played in PES 2018. The more measured approach is wonderful, as is Real Touch+. That’s why the parts that need an upgrade stick out more than they have in years.

La cuenta se echa rápido. Son muchos más en número y más importantes los aspectos positivos que los negativos de esta entrega de Pro Evolution Soccer. No es una entrega revolucionaria, más bien el reajuste final de todo lo que ya iba por el buen camino, junto a una inclusión de contenidos para no quedarse atrás en ese campo respecto a su rival. Una jugabilidad exquisita pero exigente, accesible para todos pero satisfactoria para quienes buscan mucho más, junto a modos variados y unos gráficos potentes. PES 2018 es, de nuevo, una gran opción.
